Undertow
is a first-person shooter project with level design emphasis.
Within the span of a month, this project was made to incorporate level design concepts commonly use in the game industry. I primarily worked with the level design of the first half of the level when the player starts in the flooded area. The water restricts the player from jumping, so I had to keep that in mind when making the level design challenging enough to not be too easy yet maintaining a sense of player urgency to figure out how the player character functions.
