Spectral Ascension

is a 2-8 player battle royale game where you ascend into the living.

This game was a capstone project spanning my whole senior year of my undergraduate game development program at UCSC. What's special about this project, unlike game projects done in the previous years of the program, was that the development was during the peak COVID-19 pandemic so we did all of development online and through Zoom and Discord meetings.

My role in this project was to be the Character Animator/Rigger. The 3D Artists would send me character models and I weight-painted them up to a skeleton rig in Blender. I would then use the animation pipeline in Blender to create animations for character movements and attacks.
